At home at... Family Mos

April 21th 2012

AAs purebred residents of The Hague, the Moss family swapped some years ago there home with their "stamp size garden" for a beautiful dike house in a small town in a part of the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee.

This time we had to drive quite a bit for "At Home with ... Family Moss."

Seen from the street they look like nice but pretty small homes. But it turned out there was quite a large garden behind the dike house This gave them, as they told us, the opportunity to bring "a piece of Westland" with them in the form of a fairly large greenhouse.

The greenhouse is actually composed of two separate linked greenhouses. This allowed them quite simply to create a cool and a warm zone setting in the greenhouse.
Above a panorama photo of the warm greenhouse.

All plants looked very well. Especially the root growth in some plants was very overwhelming.

The Vanda's looked very healty with overwhelming root growth.

Because it was still pretty early in the season, there was not that much in bloom. But what was blooming gave our photographic equipment considerable work again.
